Comparison of nanofluidic and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry for high sensitive pharmacokinetic studies of estrogens starting from whole blood microsampling
Researchers compared nanofluidic LC-MS/MS with conventional UHPLC-MS/MS for measuring estradiol and estetrol after VAMS collection. The miniaturized LC-chip approach achieved substantially greater sensitivity while enabling whole-blood microsampling for small-animal pharmacokinetic studies.
