The Precision Biomarker Laboratories (PBL) is a commercial business unit at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Beverly Hills, California. We use cutting-edge next generation proteomic technologies to advance precision medicine and transform healthcare. 

Our diverse team of experts provide customized and integrated proteomics solutions across biomarker discovery, validation and CAP/CLIA-certified laboratory testing capabilities for a variety of sample types including whole blood, plasma, serum, dried blood spots, cerebrospinal fluid, breast milk and tissues. Our state-of-the-art technologies enable automated sample preparation and processing as well as precise biomarker-based phenotyping by integrating novel proteomic methods and translational capabilities to uncover and quantify clinically useful biological and pathological signatures. All PBL personnel are Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) certified. We ensure high-quality project management, documentation, and quality control on all projects.

    • Olink – PBL is a certified service provider for Olink Target 48, Olink Target 96, and Olink Flex panels.
    • Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) - Run your samples on MSD’s standard and tailored panels.
    • Quanterix - Run your samples on Quanterix’s standard and tailored panels.
PBL uses proprietary bioinformatics tools QCactus™ and ProEpic™ that generate quality control metrics and provide robust data analysis pipelines enabling reproducible and value driven data transformation, visualization, and reporting.

PBL has a GLP translational laboratory and planned CLIA lab. All PBL personnel are GLP certified.
