Medical Device Sales Representative (German and/or French Speaking Region in Europe)

We are offering a position where you will be responsible for the sales of our novel medical devices within health care professionals in Europe. This position offers an excellent opportunity for cross-functional work with internal stakeholders to help to modernize healthcare.

In this role, you will define and execute agreed sales strategies within a given geographical territory. Expected to prospect, generate, nurture and grow business within a defined clinical vertical. Focusing on: hospitals, clinical diagnostics, and related healthcare professions. For each subvertical, you will identify business potential and in doing so, build long term business relationships with key decision makers in order to expand and enrich our current client base in your assigned territory.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a commercial mindset, a strong work-ethic, and innovative attitude. This person will have at least 3 years of experience in managing key territories, ability to work independently and demonstrate a history of exceeding established sales targets.

In order to be successful in this role, we will expect you to be able to rapidly assimilate and practically apply medical and scientific information pertaining to clinical diagnostics. Moreover, you will have experience in presenting in front of groups of professionals at CSO/CEO level. 

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English French and German is required.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Collaborate with business development director on strategies for prospect outreach.
  • Partner with marketing to produce content for use in outreach.
  • Drive and support a wide range of corporate initiatives with research, analysis, and project management.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities. Develop a pipeline of opportunities through networking and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive lists of potential partners.
  • Support all aspects of partnership development including: opportunity creation, strategic analysis, due diligence, and negotiation.
  • Manage key partnerships with the goal of driving revenue.

We are looking for people who have:

  •  At least a Bachelor’s Degree in science-related field, ideally PhD or MSc level.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and in French/German.
  • Broad understanding of and 3+ years experience in healthcare, medical technology and/or clinical laboratory testing.
  • Extensive understanding of European Health care systems.
  • Capability to work on short-term and long-term projects both independently and within a larger international environment.
  • Problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • High work ethic, collaborative attitude, and flexibility.
  • Ability to handle rejection and overcome objections.
  • Ample experience with and knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Ideally, experience with Salesforce and/or HubSpot software.
