Accounts Payable

Neoteryx is seeking to hire a reliable, detail-orientated and efficient Accounts Payable member to help process vendor invoices, check requests, expense reports, reconcile purchase cards, petty cash and assist in month-end closing.

Responsibilities / Duties

Manage company’s Accounts Payable activities including but not limited to:

  • Setup and maintaining new vendor accounts according to company policies and procedures
  • Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, verifying, and reconciling invoices
  • Issuing recurring payments
  • Maintaining vendor relationships
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Handling and reconciliation of petty cash account
  • Process employee reimbursements
  • Process and review travel expense submissions
  • Process, post, and reconcile company purchasing card transactions
  • Process and reconciliation of prepaid accounts
  • Assist with reconciliation of fixed asset accounts
  • Assist with month-end closing and reconciliation of various accounts
  • Prepare and submit monthly accruals and journal entries
  • Assist in the preparation of financial plan including annual budgets
  • Assist in annual audits
  • Provide ad hoc accounting reports
  • Provide support for ad hoc accounting matters

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (or higher) in Accounting is preferred
  • Must have 1-3 years of accounts payable experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of fundamental Accounts payable practices and procedures
  • Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Direct experience with Financial Force/Ascent ERP a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
